Speaking Spanish can open up a whole new world of experiences and connections. I can help you develop the Spanish you need for real situations and real conversations: talking to people, making appointments, shopping, eating out, making phone calls and feeling more comfortable communicating in everyday life.
But we won't just memorise useful phrases. We'll build the language skills that allow you to communicate independently and with confidence.
We'll start by looking at your current level, why you're learning Spanish and what you'd like to achieve.
From there, we'll establish clear and realistic objectives and build your lessons around them.
Your lessons can combine conversation, grammar, vocabulary, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing when helpful, and practical Spanish for real-life situations.
We’ll regularly review what you’ve learned and what comes next, so you can actually recognise your progress.
As a bilingual Spanish–English teacher, I understand the kinds of questions English speakers often have. Instead of just memorising rules, you'll understand why they work, so it actually sticks and you can use it with confidence.
If you're interested, we can occasionally explore Spanish through music and cultural references. It's completely optional, your interests help shape the lessons.
If you're working towards a DELE qualification, I can help you prepare with focused, structured lessons designed around your level.
We'll work on the language skills you need for the exam, identify the areas that need strengthening and practise exam-style tasks so that you know what to expect and can approach the exam with confidence.
I'm a native Spanish speaker and bilingual Spanish–English teacher with extensive teaching experience in Spain and the UK. I hold a BA Honours in Applied Languages and Communication Skills, a PGCE in Secondary Education with QTS, and specialist training in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE) from International House Barcelona.
I've taught languages in schools, language academies and privately, and I have extensive experience teaching languages online.
